Earnnest is a secure, convenient digital payment platform that allows for a fully digital transfer of deposit funds in real estate transactions. Please note that while Earnnest can be used to conveniently transfer deposits, it cannot be used to transfer cash due at closing for your real estate purchase.

Wire Policy

Wire fraud is a scheme to defraud individuals or entities involved in real estate transactions out of money. Being that the real estate industry is often targeted by hackers engaging in wire fraud, Bennu Title, LLC has devised a wire policy. 

We will never send wiring instructions unless they have been specifically requested. Please be cautious of any wiring instructions you receive that you did not personally request or authorize someone to request on your behalf.

Our emails will always come from a @bennutitle.com address. Be cautious of suspicious email addresses that do not end in @bennutitle.com. Always verbally verify wiring instructions with a member of our staff by calling 504.354.8420, prior to initiating any wire for a deposit or cash-to-close.

We have one account through which we accept closing funds that are tied to our wiring instructions. Therefore, there is no instance in which we would change our wiring instructions. Be highly suspicious of any phone calls or emails that state there is a change in wiring instructions.
